More than 70 percent of European women use some sort of depilation (hot wax) or epilation (electrical current) to remove unwanted hair from unwanted places, according to the latest on the beauty grapevine. Russian women fall into these statistics as well, perhaps not in such high numbers, but there are many professional places to get the procedure done efficiently in the Russian capital. The difference between the two procedures is basic. The first involves removing the hair, without destroying the hair follicles, by applying thin layers of hot, not burning, wax on the designated area. This procedure leaves the skin smooth and soft, but can last for several weeks at best. The second involves laser or electric pulse and cause more discomfort initially, but lasts for up to several months.
