An original tearoom, Peko, has opened near Mayakovskaya metro station. Inside Peko, there are no windows or clocks, customers have to take off their shoes at the entrance and cigarette smoking is forbidden inside, with only hookahs allowed. There are more than 50 teas, including exotic varieties like White Peony From Yellow Mountains white tea and Snow Flower yellow tea with a strong aroma. Teas are served either traditionally, where the waiter brings a teapot to you table, or with a Lu Yui tea ceremony.
