The major sensation of a recent press conference held by controversial oligarch Boris Berezovsky in London was not the presentation of his questionable film about acts of terrorism in Russia, but the fact that the oligarch attended with his third wife, Yelena Gorbunova, the weekly Express-Gazeta reported.
Berezovsky and Gorbunova have apparently reunited after a two-year separation caused by a young beauty from Novokuznetsk, known only as Marianna.
Express-Gazeta alleged that, having lost all hope for returning to Russia, Berezovsky is seeking to create a new image for himself as a respectable family man in order to please conservative Western society.
In addition to his business and political "achievements," Berezovsky has won notoriety for his outstanding masculine potential - he has fathered six children from three wives (officially) and God only knows how many more out of wedlock. Rumor has it that he has been involved with TV host Arina Sharapova and a number of top models.
At the London press conference, Gorbunova behaved like a host, greeting the guests, showing them to their seats and cheering her husband when he got tired of speaking English and shifted to Russian.
The conference's most poignant moment came when "professional revolutionary" Valeria Novodvorskaya had an asthma attack: Gorbunova helped her to the first-aid station and Berezovsky offered to pay for her treatment in a hospital in Switzerland. As a truly disinterested freedom fighter, Novodvorskaya refused.
