Pop star Alsou Safina, 18, was looking her sexy self when she arrived at the Kino club to attend a screening of Alexander Pavlovsky's new movie, "Atlantida," starring Dmitry Kharatian and including a song of hers on the soundtrack, the daily Zhizn reported.
"I met Kharatian in person while working on the film," Alsou told Zhizn. "He charmed me. I'll tell you a little secret: A couple of years ago, I, like most normal girls, had a huge crush on Kharatian [from afar]. Can you imagine how it felt to work with him on a movie? I was so happy. When I talked to him, I realized he was worthy of my love. I have to say, I've fallen in love with him."
Alsou also confessed to having been infatuated with Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio in the past. The infatuations faded away as she grew older, but the dream of going to Hollywood is still with her.
"I have to admit, I would have loved to do the soundtrack for 'Titanic' but, unfortunately, Celine Dion got there before me. Incidentally, I've always dreamed of starring in a movie about a tragic love affair, but it has to have a happy ending. As a kid, I liked watching 'Moscow Doesn't Believe in Tears' and 'Devchata' (Girls) with my parents, but recently I've been obsessed with American movies.
"Recently, I saw 'Crossroads' with Britney Spears - frankly, I didn't find anything particularly exciting about the movie.
"I rarely go to the movies in Moscow because I always have to bring my bodyguards. It's much simpler in the U.K., where I can just call up my friends and go."
Alsou has been invited to act in several movies, but always had to turn them down because she can't act. "So, my parents and I decided I should study at the GITIS Academy of Acting. I'll be finishing my first year there soon."
