Agatha Christie frontman Gleb Samoilov has finally decided to tie the knot, the daily Zhizn reported. His bride-to-be is Anya Chistova, daughter of the band's producer, Yelena Chistova. In order to win Anya's love, the famous rocker has not only ended all his previous romantic relationships, but has also quit smoking and drinking alcohol. To further his cause, Samoilov has rented a comfortable four-room apartment in a prestigious district of Moscow, near the Novoslobodskaya metro station.

"I've known Anya since she was seven," Samoilov told Zhizn. "She would accompany the band on all of its tours. Then she became a fashion designer and stopped hanging out with us. But one day I bumped into her in the metro. I was shocked to see how beautiful she had become. How could have I missed her in the past? I have to say I've gone out of my mind. Finally I approached her mother and told her how I felt."

Samoilov's mother-in-law-to-be was positive about the upcoming union. However, the same cannot be said about his brother and bandmate Vadim Samoilov. "He is simply jealous," the elder Chistova alleged. "I bet he is in love with Anya, too." "Do you know what I had to do to get Anya to marry me?" Samoilov said. "She categorically demanded that I quit smoking and drinking. It was far from easy. I even had to go to a doctor." Rumor has it that Samoilov underwent anti-alcohol treatment using hypnosis and now cannot even touch a wine glass.

Wedding preparations are in full swing; the ceremony is scheduled for late May. And, as a wedding present, Yelena Chistova is going to finance the release of the band's next album and arrange for Samoilov to star in a couple of music videos.
