NEW YORK - Elizabeth Jagger's name has long been mentioned as the possible new face of cosmetics giant Lancome, and now the high-profile signing has been confirmed, the U.K. Hello! magazine reports.
The 18-year-old daughter of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and model Jerry Hall is joining the firm's impressive spokesmodel roster, which includes Hollywood star Uma Thurman and Spanish beauty Ines Sastre.
And it seems the teenage model's career is really heating up: In addition to the $300,000 contract with the makeup company, the "statuesque stunner with daddy's famous lips," as she's called in a Lancome statement, recently signed another big deal. She'll be starring in an upcoming campaign for Australian clothing line Jag, receiving $100,000 to appear in catalogues and posters.
"She has a fantastic association with fashion and she is really destined to achieve," Jag's general manager Sam Cooper told Hello. "She is very sexy, confident, and most importantly she has a degree of individuality... three fantastic qualities for a fashion brand."
Meanwhile, tabloids reported this week reported that Jagger was back with her model boyfriend Damien van Zyl just a week after they split. Apparently, it was good news for South African-born van Zyl, as he was about to be kicked out of her New York apartment.
