Writer, playwright and feminist Maria Arbatova, 45, is getting married for the third time, the weekly Komsomolskaya Pravda reports. She has been separated from her second husband, Effective Policy Fund expert Oleg Witte, for more than six months now, but they have kept up a friendly relationship. According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, Arbatova's new friend is known only as Alexander. He is much older than she, and lives and works in the United States.
"I don't want to speak about my private life," Arbatova said, cutting short a Komsomolskaya Pravda correspondent who asked her to confirm or deny the rumors about her marriage plans. A moment later, however, she said playfully that she would probably get married near the end of the year. She added that she has only ever been fond of one kind of man - a successful one. "I don't like to live off a man," Arbatova hastened to add. "I do not belong to the 'sponger' type."
