Pop singer, dancer and gay icon Boris Moiseyev appeared with a new image in the music video for his song "Tatuirovka" (Tattoo), the weekly Mir Novostei reported.

The video was filmed at the Moscow Aggregate Factory, and Moiseyev was cast as a worker.

"This was like seeing Mother Teresa with a copy of Playboy in her hands," Mir Novostei reported. Indeed, Moiseyev has invariably appeared on stage dressed in ruffles and sexy silk satins. The video is definitely not for the squeamish.

The director of the video, Albert Khamitov, told Mir Novostei that the idea of filming the "child of sin" in the role of a factory worker was suggested to him by a worker from the Urals who was sitting next to him on an airplane. The worker was leafing through a magazine, and when he saw a photo of Moiseyev on one of the pages, he said: "He’s such a good actor, but it’s such a pity that he’s so removed from the masses!" Khamitov decided to correct this flaw.

The worker’s overalls in which Moiseyev was filmed were tailored on special order in New York and cost quite a lot of money.
