LOS ANGELES – "Lord of the Rings" star Liv Tyler has married her longtime musician boyfriend, Royston Langdon, in a private ceremony in the Caribbean, Tyler’s publicist said last Thursday.

Tyler, 25, and Langdon, the former frontman of British band Spacehog, tied the knot on March 25.

Tyler is the daughter of Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler and former Playboy model Bebe Buell, who carried on an eight-month affair with the Boston rocker while she was still living with musician Todd Rundgren in the ’70s. Langdon, who played bass in the rock band Spacehog, recently launched a solo tour in the United States.

It’s the first marriage for both Tyler and Langdon, who plan to throw a small bash for family and friends next month in the couple’s hometown of New York.

The actress and her new husband have been together since 1998, shortly after she split up with her "Inventing the Abbotts" costar Joaquin Phoenix. The 30-year-old musician reportedly popped the question to Tyler on Valentine’s Day 2001. (Reuters)
