A pleasant surprise awaited pop singer Alsou Safina, a.k.a. Alsou, as she returned to Moscow from Cyprus where she was on a short vacation, the daily Zhizn wrote. Her father Ralif Safin and her producer Alexander Shevchenko gave her a beautiful wedding dress and a beautifully furnished bedroom with an enormously wide bed.
No, Alsou is not getting married as you might have guessed. All these preparations were only made to film a music video to Alsou’s song "Pervy Raz" (For the First Time).
"Every time I sing this song I recall my first love," Alsou told Zhizn. "I was very upset when we were through and went our separate ways, and now I can hardly hold back tears," she confessed. "My partner in the film, Yan Miroshnichenko, is not the least bit like the guy I loved, and despite all his good looks he is definitely not my type of guy."
In response to a Zhizn question about whether or not her dad has found her a Tatar guy (Alsou is Tatar), she replied, "My father keeps on threatening to marry me off to a Tatar guy, but my opinion is that love only matters, not nationality."
"I don’t have time to think about marriage," Alsou went on to say, while she smiled coquettishly, "I’ll be in Moscow for only a couple of weeks and then again I will tour. I have to study, too."
