Due to a high concentration of the feel of "democracy" in the blood of our employees, they sometimes start to shout and yell at each other (like when our bartender and one of our waitresses were really loud), but it turns out that it’s just their way of having fun.

A lot of celebrities like to come to our place and I sometimes sit and talk with them. They act just like any random visitor and they are very nice.

The owners of the restaurant are famous designers. It was their idea to design the restaurant in this minimalist way. They also worked with the club/restaurant Marakkesh, the Reebok shop and all the Podium shops.

I graduated from the Moscow Institute of Electronics, which is located in the city of Zelenograd. I worked as a system administrator at a factory at first. I had to deal with computers and systems. Then I was offered a job at a restaurant again as a system administrator. That s when I started to work as an accountant. I liked the job and started to go from one restaurant to another until I finally got to Klon. At that time I worked at the Vanil restaurant and one day some people I knew offered me a job at Klon. The owners of the restaurant noticed that I was able to do much more than simply accounting work so they offered me the position of cafe director, which is my current position. As for my work, my salary directly depends on the quality of work done. I’m responsible for a very wide range of tasks, from buying light bulbs to managing and organizing parties.

I usually try to spend all my free time I have sleeping. I also moonlight at the Marica restaurant. As for hobbies, I am an avid collector. I started collecting postage stamps. Then I decided to collect Soviet and Russian coins. At the moment I collect phone-cards. In other words, I collect pretty much anything. My other hobby is analyzing the coffee shop and restaurant market, which was something I was always interested in, even before I worked in this industry. I usually spend my vacations with my relatives, who live in Israel. Recently, I got this crazy idea about celebrating New Year’s aboard a plane on the way to Moscow. I also like to hang out with my friends at this cozy little cafe at the Marriott Aurora hotel. At the moment, I’m very into interior design and I like to take part in television shows – I was on the Russian programs "Brain Ring" and "Name That Tune"!
