National-Bolsheviks stage sit-in at United Russia office in Moscow

MOSCOW - Activists of the National-Bolshevik Party of Russia (NBP) seized control of a United Russia public-reception office on Pereyaslavsky Alley here. As Rosbalt was told by the NBP press office, 20 of its activists made their way into the office and handcuffed themselves to doors and radiators. They were calling for a public boycott of the presidential elections and for cancellation of the results of elections to the Duma.

'A group of National-Bolsheviks carried out a peaceful, non-violent takeover of a United Russia public reception office,' the press office declared. 'A portion of those participating made their way to the third floor of the building, while the remainder held a meeting in the street,' the press office said. Those at the meeting chanted, 'Down With Elections Without a Choice' and 'United Russia--Totalitarian Sect.' Militia units were dispatched to the scene, Rosbalt was told at the capital office of the Main Administration for Internal Affairs. Violators of the peace were taken to the nearest militia station.

It may be recalled that the Russian Without Putin movement, created by the NBP, is calling for a boycott of the presidential elections and accuses Vladimir Putin of 'failures and crimes in Russia's foreign and domiestic policies.'
